Ethos Cot is the narrowest piece in the welted-arm Ethos line, a 36.25-inch chair-and-a-half format that keeps the same tailored detailing as the larger Ethos sofas while fitting into single-sleeper or secondary-guest spaces.
The mechanism is Nest: lift, walk out, and lay flat, the same two-step manual conversion used across Ethos, though the Cot does not include a half-open position, converting directly between chair and bed. Depth from wall when open is 84.75 inches. Foam specification matches the rest of the line: 2.2 lbs/cu ft density tight-upholstery seat foam and CertiPUR-EU certified cold-cured high-resilience mattress foam.
The bed is a Cot size: 30 inches wide by 80 inches long, full length for a single adult sleeper. Fabric grades run A through E, leather from grade 1000 through Prescott.
Frame is solid spruce with mortise-and-tenon joinery and birch plywood, made in the EU to order, four to six weeks from order to delivery.
Ethos Cot compares to Casey Cot Chair: Casey uses a rolled-arm design and Hybrid mechanism, while Ethos Cot keeps the welted arm and Nest conversion shared with the rest of the Ethos family, making it the better match if you're pairing it with other Ethos pieces in the same room.
