The mechanism is Hybrid Deluxe: one lift to open, and the frame does the rest. You set the loose back cushions aside first, then lift the front of the seat in a single motion while the mechanism auto-folds into position. No dragging a separate frame, no second person required. It's manual, not power, and the conversion happens in one step. The bed opens out from the wall, so you'll need 86.25 inches of clearance behind the sofa when it's extended.

The bed is 76 inches wide by 80 inches long, a true American king. The mattress is built in at 5 inches, a CertiPUR cold-cured high-density foam pad, and the unit is rated for daily sleeping use.
