Our Longpi Pottery Dinner Plates are crafted by artisans using age-old techniques in a village in Manipur, India. Each plate is meticulously made without the use of a potter's wheel using locally-sourced weathered-rock and serpentine clay. Each piece is air-dried, then polished with a local leaf and fired to achieve the unique, velvety, matte finish and black hue.
